Our company's founder - Johnny I'Anson started in radio a loooooooooong time ago, 2004 to be precise. Like any self-respecting radio person, he found himself making a lot of tea and doing a lot of vox-pops in the rain (the things where people with microphones ask you about your favourite biscuit or the best TV theme tune ever made - it's Minder in case you're wondering). After hanging around BBC Radio Leeds for long enough, he eventually pestered the boss into giving him a go on air. After starting on early Breakfast, he went onto present all manner of shows, eventually ending up at BBC Radio 5 Live, where he still presents regularly across the station. As well as presenting his other great love (as well as his two cats) is audio production. Johnny has been fortunate enough to win a few high-profile awards for his work covering all kinds of topics from bareknuckle boxing, drug addiction, the sex industry, Europe's refugee crises and pop paraphernalia. In recent years he's including podcasting into his audio arsenal and loves the freedom and depth the medium offers.
